There are no silly questions. Here are a few patients often wish they'd asked.

Appointments can feel rushed, and it's easy to forget what you meant to ask. Writing questions down beforehand, on your phone or on paper, helps you leave feeling clearer.

Before surgery

  • :Which of my medications should I pause, and when?
  • :When should I stop eating and drinking beforehand?
  • :What should I bring on the day?

About recovery

  • :What will the first week realistically look like?
  • :How will my pain be managed once I'm home?
  • :Which signs mean I should call you, and who do I call after hours?
  • :When might I expect to drive, work or exercise again?
